South Dakota Politician to Protect Women From Themselves

I'm still planning a follow up post on the South Dakota Task Force to Study Abortions Report. In the interim, via Pandagon, I read that one of the task force members, Rep. Roger Hunt, plans to introduce a bill, called the Woman's Health and Life Protection Act, that would ban abortion in South Dakota. From the article:

Hunt says, "DNA testing now can establish the unborn child has a separate and distinct personality from the mother.

Here's the thing people of South Dakota [if I may be so presumptuous as to point something out to the population of an entire state]: someone who lacks a basic understanding of biology should not be in charge of protecting your health and your life.
