Ask any doctor and they will tell you that codes beginning with V are feminine. They are touchy-feely. And they are just as devalued as women. Insurance companies often will not even pay doctors for services they codify solely with V’s. If I hadn’t included that 466.0 the insurance company would have reimbursed me zero dollars.

Other submissive V-codes include: contraceptive management, annual physicals, divorce counseling, postmenopausal states, family planning, pregnancy testing, and Pap smears.
